Common questions

What it costs, what it does, and what happens if it turns out not to suit you. If yours is not here, ask us.

Getting started

  • When can I start?

Not quite yet. We are finishing the last of it and opening to a small first group shortly. Join the waiting list and we will let you know the moment it is ready. Your first fourteen days will be free, and we will not ask for a card to start them.

  • Do I need to be technical?

No. It opens on one screen, asks you three short questions, and you add the parts you need as you need them. Each part walks you through setting itself up, so nothing expects you to know how it works before you start.

  • I have not got time to learn another system.

You do not have to learn it all. It arrives with one screen, you answer three questions, and you add things as you need them. Each one walks you through setting itself up.

  • How long does it take to get going?

Once you are in, setting up takes a couple of minutes. How long before it is genuinely useful depends on how much you put in, and the fourteen free days are there for exactly that.

  • Can I bring my existing data in?

Customers and email marketing contacts, from a CSV. That is a spreadsheet export from whatever you use now. Nothing else yet, so jobs and past invoices would not come across, and it is worth asking us before you assume either way.

    How asking works

What it costs

  • How much does it cost?

Base is £49 a month, Autopilot is £79 a month, +VAT, and the price is per business rather than per user. Paying for a year is a cheaper monthly rate. Your first fourteen days will be free, and we will not ask for a card to start them.

See what is in each plan

  • Is VAT included?

No. Prices are ex-VAT. If you are VAT registered you will claim it back as normal.

  • Can I move between plans?

    Yes, any time.

  • Am I tied in?

Monthly plans you can cancel whenever. Annual plans are a cheaper rate for a year.

  • What happens when the 14 days are up?

Nothing is deleted. If you have not subscribed by then the workspace goes read-only: everything you put in is still there, still readable, and you can download the lot from settings. Subscribe whenever you are ready and it picks up where you left off.

Using it day to day

  • Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. It runs in your phone's browser, and the work that happens away from a desk works there: send a quote from the doorstep, raise an invoice from the van, check the week before you set off.

    What it does

  • Will my team actually use it?

It works on any phone, and there is nothing to install. If someone can use WhatsApp, they can use this.

  • Does it work with Xero or Google Calendar?

Not yet. There are no accounting or calendar integrations, so if that is what you need, this is not the tool for it today. What does connect is your own website: its contact form can post straight in, so an enquiry arrives as a lead without anyone retyping it.

  • My spreadsheet works fine.

It probably does, until a quote goes unanswered for three weeks or an invoice sits unpaid because chasing it is awkward. The spreadsheet is not the problem. Remembering to look at it is.

Asking for things, and your data

  • What if I need something that is not in there?

Ask us. We price it, you decide, and we build it. That is the point of the whole thing.

    How asking works

  • What happens to my data if I leave?

It is yours, and you do not have to ask. Settings has a download of everything: a file per record type, your quotes and invoices as PDFs, and any attachments. Stop paying and the workspace goes read-only rather than shut, so it is all still there and still readable.

    Security and your data

  • Where is my data kept, and who can see it?

In the UK, on AWS in London, and no other business can see yours. There is a page that goes through all of it: who holds what, what we will not do with it, and what happens when you leave.
